Rockliffe Hall Christmas Spa Treat

We usually spend Christmas in the North, visiting my parent’s in Durham and the Senior Boston’s in York.  Christmas is a lovely time for catching up with relatives, friends, eating and drinking and general merriment.

I usually try to counteract the effects of such merriment with a pre-christmas Day Spa…..Oh I do like a good five star Hotel and our trip to Rockliffe Hall was not going to disappoint!  Nestled between York and Durham, this five star Darlington retreat was just the thing to freshen us up pre Christmas.

We swam, (super long beautiful pool) bathed, foot spa’d, facialed, massaged and generally relaxed.  The Spa was amazing, the food delicious and if you get the change go for drinks in the old part of the hotel.  Its beautiful and with the Christmas decorations got us right in the mood for the mistletoe!
