Monochrome and Vanilla – The Perfect scarf from Epice

I’m a bit black and white when it comes to colours.  What I mean is if I’m wearing black I’d accessorise with a grey or bright palate and stay clear of your earthy browns.  The world of camel and fawn, taupe and vanilla should be matched with hues of brown – no?

So I surprised myself when asked by leading Danish/French scarf label Epice to choose a scarf to review I plumped for the ‘Tall Vanilla’. A mix of black and white check with a warm vanilla thrown in – perhaps it was the rich Merino Wool which appealed (It was a cold day!)

The scarf arrived yesterday and two things happened.  One the packaging was outstanding, you know you’ve been given a really luxurious gift when it’s packaged in a bespoke box complete with well wrapped tissue paper.

Two I realised that vanilla and camel colours are the perfect accompaniment to monochrome, so I whipped out an old faithful Camel overcoat and voila!  The scarf pulled the whole look together.  The scarf did the talking for my meetings yesterday (dress it up) and I’ve worn it all day today in our studio with dress down jeans, camel knits and boots.

The scarf is gloriously luxurious and soft and warm
