Mother’s Day Beauty Inspiration

I was lucky enough to be invited to a bloggers event last week at Forde Hair Brighton. I went along with Danielle and Nathalie from LadyLovesFashion and LadyLovesBeauty.   We were completely pampered with drinks, cake and gifts and beautiful new hair do’s.  Nathalie, soft curls, Danielle, defined waves and me, a rather slick up do.  (Thanks Dan ;0)

Which got me thinking, in my job I get my fair share of lovely luxury pampering. Which I do love.  If its not work related then I’m regularly treating myself to a trip to the hair salon, beautician or a spa weekend away.  I take for granted a little self pampering, I deserve it, right?

My Mum really doesn’t have this expectation, which is really sweet but like every lady she does deserve a little luxury. Which made me think, sometimes a treatment and time spent with your Ma can be so much better than a gift.

If you’ve not already bought a gift for your Mum this Mother’s Day had you thought about a little treatment time together?  Time spent with her can be something so precious.

I’ve organised my Ma’s Mother’s Day gift already this year.  Alas she will be miles away in the North East this Sunday but as soon as she is back in Brighton I’m going to treat us both to a Mother and Daughter pamper session.  Sometimes its all about time spent together.
