Weddings

Creatively drawing inspiration from the natural world our weddings are influenced by the seasons, fresh Spring weddings with blossom and scented narcissus, cottage borders with hollyhocks, delphiniums and peonies, breezy Summer meadows and Autumn leaves, jewel coloured dahlias and Winter whites.

From April to November our little flower farm produces flowers exclusively for use in our weddings. During Winter we use sustainably sourced flowers from Holland.

Your wedding day is a celebration of you, so we work with you both to bring to life your vision weather that be a room filled with flowers or a simple bouquet.  We will guide you through the design process. We like a meeting in person or online to understand your brief, we then design a proposal that will cover every unique aspect of your day from intimate gatherings, to bigger more formal Church and reception venues.

Periwinkle Barn provides everything you need for your special day, spend some time with Deborah to talk about your ideas, flower choices, themes and colours.  We love to turn your ideas into stunning arrangements. From romantic flower clouds to foliage archways and wildflower aisle meadows. However, if simplicity is what you’re after then keeping flowers to just the most beautiful unique bouquet is more than enough to make the event setting your own.

We hope you like our Wedding flowers as much as we like making them.  We are delighted to now be flowering weddings in County Durham, North Yorkshire and Northumberland.  We particularly like working with Middleton Lodge, Halton Grove, Durham Cathedral, and Beamish Hall.

We do have some space for weddings in 2025, and our books are open for 2026 & 2027
