Hey folks

I’ve had a lovely time this week shopping in Charity Shops, I know! A friend of mine works in such a shop and got me involved in volunteering my time, so far so good, nice people, nice shop, SO MANY FAB CLOTHES!!!!

Yes, never did I think these words would fall from my mouth but, I love second-hand stuff!  Charity shops are given some beautiful hardly worn and sometimes designer items.  Also, and not many people know this, they are quite often given new end of season stock from high street stores.

In the space of two weeks I’ve bagged a denim jacket for £2.50, a wool bomber jacket for £7.00 and a brand new (from H&M) check wool scarf for £1.00!!!!

Not to mention the totally cutesy wicker shopper £3.50 and umpteen novels that I meant to buy last Summer but never got around to it.

So not only am I doing a little charity work giving my time but I’m also giving to the charity and bagging myself some bargains to boot!  Ladies this is a win-win situation!

Finally today is our little pups birthday.  Baby Blue turns one whole year today!  We picked her up at eight weeks and she has been a very big part of our lives ever since, see how much she has grown!
