Iโm over the moon to take on the role of Co-ordinator for Flowers From the Farm North East and Yorkshire Region, alongside Andrea (Hand Sown Flowers).ย Iโve been a member since 2022, its such a fab organisation supporting the British cut flower industry.
January saw the FFTF 2025 Conference take place with so many amazing speakers and break out groups. I think everyone with whom I spoke was delighted to be there. Itโs good to know that people are making more of a shift towards buying British flowers.
Flowers From the Farm brings together 1,000 flower farmers nationwide about 100 of which are in our region.
That equals a huge amount of local cut flowers for sale. You can find your local flower farmer by going to the Flowers from the Farm website.
Our combined knowledge on growing flowers is also extensive so do come along to our open days and workshops, get involved, ask some questions and buy British.
