What a grey day it’s turned out! First we had sunshine, followed by showers. Then a rainbow before the sky turned grey and thunder, lightening, hailstones like golf balls…..Got me thinking you can change your home style as quick as a change in the weather.

Take my kitchen table and chairs for instance. The chairs were mismatched and the pine table had long been in need of a little tlc!

I love the huge effect that a simple pot of paint has on your furniture. A few shades of blue and grey and just like the weather it’s all change in an instant!

We used Annie sloan paint in French Grey, Abusson Blue and Old White and mixed it up a bit to create new shades.
