Hurray for March and an almost finished Dining Room.  To celebrate I’m posting some before and after pictures of how the dining room now looks.

I took inspiration from my favorite Interior designer Abigail Aherns blog and moved to the dark side! Dark walls add drama, warmth for winter and make a perfect backdrop for lighting, prints, stem wear and your treasures! I mixed my own colours which can be a little daunting but I’d say be brave with it.

Dining room is painted in Wickes paint by mixing Licorice with White to make a dark charcoal.  Living room colour is mixed by using Peacock and Licorice to make a dark teal, floors are Dark Oak throughout.
