Queen Hair & Beauty – Brighton

Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to a night of indulgence and treatments at Queen Hair & Beauty in Brighton.

Ma is staying with me at the moment so I got her to don her glad rags and off we popped for a much needed pamper.

The salon is new to Brighton, three floors of Hair, Beauty and a Training Acadamy founded by beauty aficionado Page Joyce and managed by her right hand man Marc Simpson, it was set up only three months ago and is already making waves amongst Brighton folk.

After catching up with some of the other Brighton Bloggers and enjoying a glass of wine and sweet chocolate nibbles and mini profiteroles we set down to the business at hand hair and beauty.

Mum plumped for a soft curled hair do and sparkly pink gel nails, she was very happy with the results.

I also went for a hair curl which made my hair look thicker and fuller and I tried threading for the first time……

I am converted!!!  The lovely Fay was super gentle as she threaded and shaped my bushy brows into submission.  I was very pleased with the results, seems to lift my whole face….she suggested a brow tint for next time, with very reasonable prices I can’t say no.

Both me and Ma came away looking like a million dollars and vowing that we would be back soon.

Not wanting to waste our new do’s we stopped off at The Schooner in Southwick a Gastro pub with style and great food.  We ate the Dover Sole which was nothing less than delicious.
